May 31st

Hello Blogland...... It is the END of May here in Central Texas and I have made my May goal of bloggin my food, water and exercise everyday this month !!! Yeah for ME !!!!
Breakfast was:
1 1/2 cup messy eggs (hashbrowns, peppers, onions, mushrooms, eggs and liquid egg whites)
2 turkey sausage links
Lunch was:
1 cup banana pudding
2 slices deli turkey meat
1 slice 2% cheese
Dinner was:
3 pieces fish (the not good kind ..... great value fish fillets breaded)
1 cup french frys baked
2 teaspoons reduced fat Mayo w/olive oil
Snack was:
1 cup low fat cookies and cream ice cream

water was 6 bottles of water
exercise was 30 minutes on the treadmill :)

Now on to June :) Bring It On !!!!
my personal goals to add to boggin every day for the month of June are:
1) veggies :)
2) fruit :)
3) mix up my work outs add some different things :)

May 30th

Dang tomorrow is already the end of May...... and I have blogged my food every day :) Yeah Me!!!
Today was a bit crazy around my house..... I went grocery shopping this morning filled up with fruit in natural juice and veggies. I am a lazy cook LOL so I buy alot of steam fresh veggies :) I buy mushrooms, lettuce, onions (all of them already chopped up) tomatoes fresh ..... See told ya I was a lazy cook. Most days to be honest I need things that are fast and that can cook/microwave while I am working out or getting ready for work. And now with school start again on Monday well lets just say Thanks for steam fresh and boneless skinless chicken breast I can through in the oven LOL....or crockpot :) But anyways I am ready for the first week of June and the first week of Angs summer challenge so BRING IT ON !!!!
Breakfast was:
2 grands biscuits
1 cup country gravy
Lunch was:
1 veggie wrap
1 single serving pack fig bars (2 bars)
Dinner was:
1 buritto (turkeyburger, fat free refried beans, 2% cheese, tomatoes)

5 bottles of water
No exercise ......not happy about this but will get it fixed tomorrow :)

This one is short and sweet (it is already Saturday morning 12:23am here LOL)
Breakfast was:
1 kashi bar
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
Lunch was:
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 slices 2% american cheese
1 peppermint patty candy regualar size
Dinner was:
1 1/2 cup rice, corn, tomatoes, green peppers and onions mixed together
4 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
1/2 small baked chicken breast

water was 5 bottles
exercise was wii fit step aerobics

I start school Monday (a math class) and LOL I have NOT bought my book yet. Class starts at 8 am so I will NOT be getting it until after the first day ..........GRRRRRRRR But it will be a good monday LOL

May 28th

Hey there Blogland!!!
Life is good and I am happy to report I did make May count!!! Yeah Me
went to our nutritionist/doctor appointment this morning at 11 am
I lost the 4lbs I gained last month so am back to 337. I could have lost more but I will take the 4lbs and being back at the same place I was 2 months ago is OK cause I have learned a few things the month of May. I have learnt even though I need to work on my food intake ALOT more ......Journaling is helping me 100% and then some. I have learnt I can do anything I set my mind too ...... including NOT eating all of something..... Knowing that tomorrow I will wake up again and I will be able to have more then if I want........ I have learnt I DONT need to turn to food for comfort....... I will continue to work not turning to food for comfort as I walk in to June with my head high and the light in my eyes :) I have learnt I AM worth it all ..... God loves me and I LOVE me :)
Hubby weighed in losing 2lbs (320 now) so that is cool
He will also be going for a MRI on his knee (just to make sure there is NO pulled ligaments or tendons) on Saturday at 4pm..... he is suppose to go back to work on Monday (thank you) but we shall see what the MRI says first ........ Thank goodness I work at a hospital and have great insurance ...... MRI should be free as long as it is done at my hospital (only have to pay 20% for the doctor that reads it) But let me tell you Hubby is a BIG baby ..... wait on me for this do that for me...... LOL but when I was at work tonight he steam cleaned our front bedroom (MMM how did he do this on cruches ??? that is why I dont think it is any more then a sprain cause when he wants to he can stand with out cruches but when he wants to be a baby he whines he needs the cruches LOL MEN)
any way on to the food for today
Breakfast was:
Nothing (did not eat before weighin in at doctors)
Lunch was:
1 banana
1 turkey burger taco
Dinner was:
1 veggie wrap (lots of lettuce, tomato, mushrooms a bit of mozeralla cheese and ranch)
1 cup cherries
1/2 cup sliced apples
2 tablespoon coolwhip

water was 5 16.9oz bottles
exercise was nothing :(

I will be working on breakfast, veggies, fruits and changing up some of my exercise for the month of June :) I also will continue to bore yall with my food journal blogs everyday in June as it really seems to help me be more accountable with it all :)

Hey there Blogland!!
Hope this finds the sun in your face and the wind to your back
Today was crazy.... I was off work but had to take hubby to the MEC (minor care emergancy) cause he has a sprained knee. MEN why on earth he could not just wait and get it looked at when we go to the doctors in the morning. But no he had to go TODAY so off to the hospital we went :(
His knee is only sprained and he will be off work until Monday. I could have told him all that LOL
Breakfast was:
Nothing setting at the hospital
Lunch was:
deli turkey sandwich on whole wheat with reduced fat mayo w/olive oil
20 fat reduced ruffles chips
Dinner was:
1 1/2 cup spagetti (whole wheat pasta with turkey burger)
2 servings mixed fruit in natural fruit juice

water is 5 bottles
exercise was 30 minutes on wii fit (son napping and hubby resting THANK YOU)
30 minutes of playing at the park with my little guy...... running, kicking the ball, swinging, just havin fun)

May 26th

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday and it is almost over :(
I am off work tomorrow (Thank You) Tonight was a hard night at work. I wish I had a pedometer I bet I walked atleast 10000 steps just at work alone. I was on the floor for 2 1/2 hours straight going from room to room floor to floor patient to patient and drawing blood. I actually left with 6 sticks to get and was paged for another 9 sticks while I was on the floor ...... Lets just say VERY busy. So I am so glad tomorrow is just me and my men day :)
Breakfast was:
1 1/2 cup raisin bran crunch
1/2 cup 2% milk
8oz trop 50 oj
(can you believe I actually ate breakfast YEAH ME)
Lunch was:
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
3oz of turkey smoked sausage
1 slice 2% cheddar cheese slice
Dinner was:
1 lean pocket (chicken mushroom spinach)
4 servings mixed fruit n natural juice
1 serving microwave kraft mac n cheese
Snacks were:
2 mini bite size snickers

6 bottles of water
30 minutes on the wii fit

May 25th

Hey there Blogland!!!!!!!!
Can you believe this is the last week of May .... only 7 months until christmas :) Christmas is my favorite holiday I love the lights the decorations I love the story of Christs birth but I miss the snow.....living in central Texas at christmas is not good if you want a white christmas :) I have been here for 6 years and this year I want so much to go home where snow is up to your knees or farther :) where my little guy can build a real snowman, go sleddin, have snow ball fights or snowmobiling ..... OK OK I will shhhushh up about snow and winter figuring most of the world would LOVE to have summer first :) LOL
Breakfast/Lunch was:
2 slices whole wheat bread
1/4 cup tuna (made with reduced fat mayo w/olive oil, and tomatoes)
20 cheddar crackers
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
Dinner was:
1 slice sausage pizza
1 slice pepporoni pizza
2 cheese sticks
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
Snacks were:
2 kashi bars
1 mini box of raisins

6 bottles of water
30 minutes wii fit steppin

May 24th

Hey there Blogland !!!!
Tomorrow is Memorial day here in the states .... so Lots of bbq's and family get togethers this weekend :)
We went to hubbys brothers and had a BBQ with everyone (his 2 brothers, 2 sisters their others and children, his mum, and a few friends)
So how did today go for me eating wise ????? MMMMMMM
Breakfast was:
2 biscuits
3 turkey sausage links
8oz trop 50 (Ang has me addicted to this)
Lunch/Dinner was:
BBQ I ate 3 turkey hotdogs (the only meat I like on a grill LOL)
1 hotdog bun (ate the other 2 bunless)
5 tablespoons layered dip (sourcream, refried beans, tomato, onion,avacado,cheese)
2 handfuls tortilla chips
1 slice cheesecake
6 bottles water (had NO beer or other drinks)
exercise today was playin volleyball and swimmin
So maybe not real good but on the other hand there was alot of food I could have eaten but choose not too........ I passed on icecream, candy, cherry cobbler, pasta salad, potato salad.
I am in hopes that I am actually getting to a place where I can eat with out having to eat it all .....If that makes sense??? And I dont have to have candy and icecream I can actually go without.........

Oh what a Saturday a rainy one LOL

Breakfast was:
Slept through ........ much needed sleep and little guy was sleeping so I did also :)
Lunch was:
1 chicken cordon blue (with mozeralla cheese)
20 french fries (baked not fried)
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juices
Dinner was:
1 1/2 cup pasta, mushrooms and lots of chix peas (the end of this for now LOL)
1 cup broccoli
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juices
Snacks were:
1 pepermint pattie candy regular size (my favorite candy yummy)
10 bbq pork rinds

5 bottles of water
no exercise ....... lame excuse but due to having to grocery shop and work all after sleeping in this morning :(

Today is my nephew Justins 24th birthday (OY am I OLD)

1/2 cup 2% milk
Lunch was:
1 1/2 cup pasta, mushrooms, chix peas (lots of these :))
2 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
Dinner was:
1 veggie wrap (lettuce, tomato, spinach and mozeralla cheese in a tortilla)
1 cup pasta, mushrooms, chix peas
Snacks were:
10 peanut m&ms
1 frosted sugar cookie
1 mini box of raisins

5 bottles of water
30 minutes on the wii fit (did this boxing one for 20 minutes today and 10 minutes of free style step aerobics)

Hey there Blogland!! Hope this finds yall doing great......
This is the end of the 3rd week of May :)
Were oh were does time go ??
June 1st I will be starting back to the community college. I have 4 semesters to finish up my Respiratory degree :) June 1st to July 6th I will be taking a remedial algerbra class to get me ready for college algerbra in the fall :) OOOYYY what fun this will be LOL.... actually I "like" math LOL.... I am hoping with starting back to school I will be back to eating breakfast on a regular bases ?? Lets pray for that one :)
Breakfast/Lunch was:
2 slices whole grain bread
1/3 cup turkey burger sloppy joe
20 french fries (baked in the oven)
Dinner was:
2 slices whole grain bread
1/3 cup turkey burger sloppy joe
1 scoop strawberry ice cream
1/2 scoop vanilla ice cream
cherries on top with a bit of peanuts
(No chocolate topping or coolwhip)
Snacks were:
2 cups popcorn
1 chex mix bar

water was: 6 bottles
exercise was: 30 minutes step aerobics on the wii fit :)
I LOVE the step aerobics on wii fit LOVE IT

For the month of May I was working on trying to eat right :) But mainly on journalling my food and water in take as well as my exercise .....
So for June (since it will be on top of us shortly) I will challenge myself to keep journalling as well as really making a honest try to get in more veggies and fruits !!!

Life is slowly getting back to normal now...... My daddy and step mom left around 11 this morning heading towards Indiana and my brothers place :)
But eating was way off again........ I NEED to get back to the basics now and get back to normal

May 17th

Good Sunday Blogland!!!
Today was a crazy "off" day
Food was NO good, Exercise was Nothing, Water was on but that was the only thing that was on.
Breakfast was:
1 peanutbutter nobake cookie
Lunch was:
chinese food at the resturant
I had 1 plate of shrimp, mushrooms, potatoes, zuccini, rice, wontons (5), one veggie egg roll
Snacks were:
2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 peanutbutter nobake cookies

water was 5 bottles and 2 large glasses (at the resturant)
exercise was NOTHING......
Went to church this morning and just spent time with my daddy, step mom, little guy, and Hubby (until he went to work at 4pm)
Dad and Stepmom are heading to Indy tomorrow so life will be back to normal (LOL if there is a normal)
My little guy keeps telling my daddy "papaw I can come stay with you" He wants to go home with papaw.... hubby and I have talked about this .....we are going there (to my dads) the end of July and we could pick him up then. But LOL I have NEVER been away from him for more then 4 nights(when I had surgery in 2007) and I seen him then every day ....... I CANT go without my little guy for 2 months NO WAY....... so I told him he can stay at papaws house for a night when we go there in July. He was not real happy with this cause he says "mommy I will miss papaw" but I am sure when we get back to our normal routine this week it will get better :)

No exercise today :(
was very busy grocery shopping, folding laundry and cooking dinner before I went to work today :( And visiting with my daddy and his wife :) They are leaving for home on monday morning...... How I wish I lived closer to my family :(

May 15th

Hey there Blogland!!!
Hope your day was great!!
My dad and step mom are in town until Monday morning when they will be back on there way home (Michigan) so it has been a bit busier around here. My little guy has been hangin out with his papaw going on LOTS of walks together. I got home tonight and My little one was laying on the couch with his papaw both fast asleep :) Was a great thing to see :)
Welp we are 1/2 way through the month and I have recorded food (everything) for 15 days straight now :) To be honest it seems to be helping me stay better with the food. But I have also found I Really need to work on getting more veggies and fruits in :(
Breakfast was:
1 cup messy eggs (a mixture of O'Brien hash browns with green peppers and onions, mushrooms, turkey sausage cut up, 2 whole eggs, 1 cup egg whites, 1/4 cup shredded cheese)
2 biscuits
Lunch was:
1 cup cottage cheese
1 kashi bar
2 mini boxes raisins
Dinner was:
2 cups salad (lettuce, tomato, mushrooms and a small bit of avocado)
NO dressing this time only because I did not have any though :(
1 Boston creme light fat free yoplait yogurt

5 bottles of water
30 minutes on the wii fit :)

1 cup mushrooms and tomatos that I added to the seafood pasta
(a friend from work brought this in for everyone and it was YUMMY)
Snacks were:
1 mini box raisins
1 kashi bar

water was 5 16.9oz bottles of water.......
exercise was 30 minutes on the wii fit :)

May 13th

Hey there Blogland!!!! It was a gorgeous day here in Central Texas today :)
My dad and step mom are on there way to visit with us. They live in Michigan but spent the winter in Arizona with my granny and they are on their way home. They should be here by friday I do believe... this was my long 6 day straight week (starting tomorrow not off until next wednesday) but I traded with a co-worker and she will work sunday for me (I will work next saturday (May 23rd) for her) ...... So they will be here until Monday morning visit and enjoying my little guy :) I am stoked to see them again :)
Breakfast/Lunch was:
1 cup of messy eggs (3 cups Obrien hashbrowns w/peppers and onions, 1 cup mushrooms, 1/4 cup shredded cheese, 2 whole eggs, 1/2 cup liquid egg whites)
2 biscuits
8oz trop 50 OJ (love this ...... thanks Ang for all the healthy things on your blog that is where I got the idea to taste this OJ)
Dinner was:
1 cup tator tots
3 cups salad (lettuce, mushrooms, tomatos)
1 pack 1000 island regular dressing 1 pack 1000 fat free dressing
Snacks were:
1 kashi bar
1 chex mix bar

Starting my 5th 16.9oz bottle of water
Did 30 minutes wii fit

I am sooooo craving fruit tonight
and we are out of fruit. I believe hubby and son went on a fruit frenzy last night LOL
I am thinking of going to walmart after hubby comes home for lunch and get me (us) some more fruit....
I snuck (is that a word LOL) a peek at the scale today it was back down to 334.4 (but I dont weigh in until we go to the nutrisionist/doctor and that is not until May 28th I think) so lets hope I can keep it going in the down trend :)
I am thinking next week we will be 1/2 way through May and I need to add some extra exercise even if it is just 10 or 15 more minutes .......what do think???

1 cup mixed veggies (brocolli, cauliflower, carotts)
1/2 cup cottage cheese
Snacks were:
2 mini boxes raisins
1 chex mix bar

30 minutes on the wii fit step aerobics

Life today was good. I am blessed to be strong and strivin for a healthier tomorrow

Hey it is Monday Again LOL :)
Hope this finds everyone doing great and enjoying life :)
I go back to the nutrionist/doctor on the 28th of this month and hoping to see a bit of a downward turn weight wise if you know what I mean
Breakfast was:
1 cup cherrios
1/2 cup 2% milk
Lunch was:
1 medium baked potato
1 cup brussel sprouts
Dinner was:
3 cups salad (lettuce, tomato and mushrooms)
1 pack 1000 island regular and 1 pack fat free dressing
10 french frys
Snacks were:
2 kashi bars
1 bite size kitkat
3 dinner mint (them small mints)
2oz mozeralla cheese

water is only 4 bottles tonight (a bit light on the water:( )
exercise was 34 minutes on the wii fit :)
Will be adding some toning to this soon
Work was crazy today .... ended up working 30 minutes over

Hope yalls Mothers Day was great :)
And if your not a mother I hope your day was great any how :)

Lunch/Dinner was:
we had LongJohnSilvers (took it to mother in laws for her mothers day .....she loves LongJohnSilvers)
2 pieces fish
8 shrimp
1 cup coleslaw
3 hushpuppies
10 frenchfries
Snacks were
small reeses blizzard

5 bottles of water
30 minutes on the wii fit

Not a great day that is for sure but getting back on top :)
One thing I learned was fast food is YUKK I tasted grease big time
I ate it and it was ok but after I was done I said ok mmmm lets not be doing this one again any time soon :(

Dinner was:
1 cup peas with mushrooms
1 1/2 cup cherries (yummy) with
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Snack were:
1 tuna salad wrap (made with low fat olive oil mayo, egg whites and not the yolks)
2 cups low fat carmel delight ice cream
4 oz mozeralla cheese

5 16.9oz bottles water :)
Exercised with the wii fit step aerobics for 30 minutes (I am SO lovin that)

May 6th

Hey there Blogland.... As you have probably figured out my titles are "very" boring this month. LOL there really is a reason for that though...... truly there is :)
The reason for my boring blog titles this month are because I am concentrating on posting/journal my food everyday this month so we are doing it generically LOL

Breakfast was :
Messy eggs (that is what my little one calls it LOL) it is 2 cups mushrooms, 1 cup onion, 1 cup green peppers, 2 whole eggs and 1 cup egg whites with 1/2 cup shredded cheese all mixed together and scrambled.
I had 1 cup of that with 2 turkey sausage links 1 slice whole wheat bread with a small bit of butter on the bread.

Lunch/Dinner was:
2 wraps (made of 8oz lowfat sourcream, 1/3 lowfat cream cheese, black olives, chillies, 1/2 cup shredded 2% cheese, pinch of garlic, pepper,salt, spread on a flour tortilla with two thin slices of deli turkey on it and rolled up)
1 medium salad (lettuce,onion,broccoli,radishes,tomatoes 1/4 cup cheese)

snack were:
2 brown sugar cinnamon 20% more fiber poptarts
4 servings mixed fruit in natural fruit juices
2 cups popcorn

on my 5th 16.9oz bottle of water
30 minutes on wii fit step aerobics

May 5th

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone!!!!!!!!!!
Today was a good day :)
Breakfast was:
1 1/2 cups multigrain cherrios
1/2 cup skim milk
1 medium banana

Lunch/Dinner was:
1/2 quesdia club (turkey, ham, cheese, bacon, tomato and lettuce on a pita)
1 yoplait light fat free banana cream pie yogurt

Snacks were:
1 mini box raisins
1 small box cracker jacks
1 bag popcorn lite
2 brown sugar cinnamon 20%more fiber low fat pop tarts

water was 5 16.9oz bottles
exercise was 30 minutes step aerobics on the wii fit (I am addicted BIG time)
But I know next week I need to get back to some other kinda exercise besides just wii fit :)

May 4th

It's Monday YEAH :)
Hey there Blogland how you doing ??
Today was a ok day for me today
Breakfast was:
1 biscuit
1 taste of butter

Lunch/Dinner was:
1 italian grilled chicken wrap
1 yoplait light fat free blackberry yogurt

snacks were:
1 (ONLY ONE) mini 3 muskateer candy
6 servings mixed fruit in natural juice
2 blueberry muffin slimfast bars

5 - 16.9oz bottles of water

30 minutes of wii fit

Today is a great day ....... Tomorrow I will be working on getting more veggies in (that is my mini goal for tomorrow

May 3rd

Happy May 3rd Blogland!!!
Hope today was great for everyone :)
Breakfast/Lunch was:

3 pork sausage patties

Dinner was:
1/2 italian grilled chicken wrap (lettuce, tomato, mozarella cheese, grilled chicken breast, picante)
1 6oz strawberry orange sunrise yoplait light fat free yogurt (yummy)

Snacks:
1 pack nutterbutter cookies (4 cookies)
1 white chocolate kitkat regular size candy bar
2 handfuls of dry roasted peanuts
4 servings mixed fruit in natural juice

30 minutes on the wii fit :) I am addicted :)

May 2nd

Hey there Blogland!!!!!
Yet another day has come and gone. I think today was an ok day :)
I lost my pedometer at the grocery store this morning...... I am NOT happy about this .... trying to make up my mind if I want to buy a new one or wait till Monday and ask the fitness lady at work if I can have a new one (I am cheap so I will probably wait LOL)
But walking with the pedometer for 3 days had me stoked on how much I DO walk :)
Breakfast today:
3 biscuits
2 pork sausage patties
1 tsp lite butter

Lunch today:
1/2 cup potato salad
1/2 cup coleslaw
3/4 cup pinto beans
2 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of cornbread
1 double vanilla icecream sandwich

Snacks today:
2 ritz crackers
2 mini 3 muskateers
1 pack of nutter butter cookies (4 cookies)
2 oz mozzeralla cheese
4 servings mixed fruit in natural juice

5 -16.9oz bottles of water

30 m,inutes of wii fit step aerobics

Today was our Company picnic I had to work so I did not go but they fed us picnic stuff for free today ....... so that is where my lunch came from :)
I know my eating was not that good today but on the other side of it all....... I stopped at 2 mini pieces of candy instead of eating ALOT more like I usually do. I stopped at one pack of cookies (instead of 2 that I could have had) and I stopped at 1 ice cream sandwich and not a pint of icecream I could have had....... so I am stoked to know I am starting to STOP the gordge eating

May 1st

Hey there Blogland!!!!
It was a good day today :) ROCKIN GOOD !!!!!! LOL
Breakfast was:
1 1/2 cup multigrain cherrios
1/2 cup 2% milk
Lunch was:
3 cups salad (lettuce, carrots, cabbage and mushrooms)
1/4 cup colby shredded cheese
2 packets 1000Island dressing (one regular one fat free)
10 crackers
Dinner was:
2 cups wheat noodles with turkey smoked sausage
1 cup broccoli with cheese
1 60z yoplait lite fat free key lime yogurt
5 ritz crackers
1 mini box raisins
Snack was:
2 oz mozzeralla cheese
2 low fat brownsugar cinnamon pop tarts

5-16.9oz bottles of water

Did ONE hour on the wii fit (45 minutes sweating 15 minutes balance and toning)
walked 7,613 steps (not including wii fit exercise) that was basically walking at work tonight

Yesterday I did 10,294 steps

Confession, Life, Getting it together

Hey there Blogland!!!!!! Hope this finds you doing awesome and enjoying life!!!!!
Am here for a bit of a confession and getting it together. First half of April was going pretty good for me :) I was seeing the scale go down a slight bit but last week was National Clinical Lab week (I work in a hospital lab) We were served food everyday..... we were put on a peddle stool and shined on !!!!! I am a food addict (sweets especially) On Friday last week we were served cake and ice cream with that great yummy butter cream frosting:) I was IN heaven. I ate and ate and ate cake mainly the icing. Friday night when I was on my way home I was sick (upchucking) the icing I had ate way to much of. I did nothing this week to turn this bad move around. So when we went to the nutritionist/doctor appointment yesterday I was NOT surprised to see a 4lb weight gain since last month when I was there.
I have found when I journal my food I do better (dont eat as much junk)
So this is May, this is a new month, a new day, a new attitude.
My goals/plans for May is:
1) Journal my food everyday
2) Exercise some sort every day for 30 minutes
3) LOVE myself
4) Drink atleast 5 16.9oz bottles of water everyday

So with goals/plans set in place here I go to make May count, Taking back my life one moment at a time.
